(01) Challenge
Our primary challenge was to design an MVP for Deal Game—a decentralized platform focused on value distribution through blockchain technology. This required a lean but impactful approach, aligning the design with Deal Game’s vision of a trustless investment bank leveraging a DAO structure. We aimed to create a user experience that emphasized transparency, minimized onboarding friction, and communicated a sense of exclusivity. Designing around the unique needs of a decentralized platform, we ensured each screen, from the invite process to the homepage, provided seamless navigation and engagement, reinforcing the brand’s mission to transform traditional investment banking.
(02) Approach
Our approach began with an in-depth study of the project’s goals, focusing on the distinct challenges of decentralized finance (DeFi) UX/UI. We mapped out a detailed user flow that reflected the platform’s emphasis on exclusivity and accessibility. Then, we created mid-fidelity wireframes for each screen to illustrate the user journey from invitation to full platform interaction. Once approved, we developed three unique UI concepts, each with a distinct style, refining the selected concept to complete the remaining screens. The final phase involved creating a clickable prototype to test user interactions and ensure Deal Game’s functionalities and user journey were intuitive and engaging.
(03) Value delivered
The Deal Game MVP showcases a user-friendly decentralized banking experience, leveraging smart contracts and blockchain technology for transparency and security. Our designs prioritize accessibility and exclusivity, essential for a DAO-driven investment platform. By minimizing onboarding friction and designing an intuitive homepage, we created a seamless user experience that aligns with Deal Game’s vision of a fair, decentralized financial ecosystem. Feedback highlighted the platform’s clarity, usability, and innovation, positioning Deal Game as a forward-thinking, trustable choice in the DeFi sector.
Design Strategy
Our design strategy centered around creating a balance between accessibility and exclusivity for a decentralized investment banking experience. This included mapping out the user journey, from onboarding through to full interaction, and focusing on user flow to ensure an intuitive experience. We implemented a responsive, scalable design, allowing Deal Game to serve as a future-ready solution in the DAO and smart contract space. By creating a flexible UI kit and utilizing component-based design, we ensured that each screen maintained a cohesive look while allowing for seamless updates as Deal Game evolves.
Design, Development, and Testing
Following a structured timeline, we developed wireframes, UI concepts, and a clickable prototype. Our process emphasized information architecture to ensure that each part of the user journey was intuitive and aligned with Deal Game’s goals of decentralization and transparency. Our cross-platform testing confirmed that Deal Game functions flawlessly across devices, making it accessible to users anywhere, while our focus on security aligns with blockchain’s standards for data protection. This methodical approach allowed us to deliver a robust MVP, meeting the requirements of a decentralized investment bank.
